THIS IS CRAP |
DONT BUY I REPEAT DONT BUY! the batery runs out super fast even if its off it the pics come out blury it has a sencer so if your finger is there it wont take the pic if you take pics and turn off the camera in 10 seconds there gone! if you take out the battery your pics are gone! THE WEB CAM IS OK BUT THE VIDEO IS DARK(PC CAM) THE VIDEO oN THE CAMERA DOESEN WORK YOU GET A FROEN IMAGE VIDEO WITH NO SOUND!
DONT BUY THIS CRAP AND WASTE YOUR MONEY THIS COST ME 29

This camera is really a toy |
If you are looking for a small camera this is not for you. We purchased several for my daughters 10th birthday party. The girls all loved the idea of having a camera and we used them in a fun game. They were able to get 18 viewable pictures. The packaging says that you can get 200, but when we adjusted the quality to get more pictures most were so blurry they were unviewable and several came out as just colored static. Many of the cameras (we bought 10) did not center properly so the girls were getting just the top of someones head and inside unless the light was really bright the pictures were not clear. The camera was also much smaller than I had expected. I guess I should have looked more closely at the specs. It is about 1 x 2 inches.
However all of that said, the girls had a good time and the cameras are pretty cheap for a toy. It did come with the necessary cable and software, so no additional purchases were necessary. And at the 18 picture level (factory setting) the pictures were not horrible for a kids camera. The girls loved that they come in silver, green, or blue
Do not use this camera to take family pictures or anything that you really care about, but a kid would surely enjoy taking this camera to the park, a school field trip, or out to play with friends. |

MAC BUYERS BEWARE |

I bought this under a different manufacturer, DigitalPix (aka DigitalPics), but the camera looks IDENTICAL, with just the name on the front being different. I installed the software, restarted my computer, and plugged it in. iPhoto launched, then froze. I had to force quit iPhoto. Reseating the cable launched iPhoto, but still nothing, but no freeze. The System Profiler recognized the camera correctly, I just can't get any photos downloaded, so this is WORTHLESS. The manual is set up for PC users only, and there is no tech support, no troubleshooting, no web site, so YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN. Running 10.3.9 on a Dual 2.5 G5. |
